Infrared camera option is a subject of a separate license. |
❶ Open Settings → select “Photo”.
❷ Find and toggle “Enable thermal camera” option. An orange circled camera icon will appear near the blue camera icon which means that infrared photos can now be taken using the FLIR ONE camera.
❸ Go to Attachments of the needed Location / Asset / Checklist Item → press the orange circled camera icon to enter thermal camera mode.
❹ Follow the on-screen instructions:
Make sure your FLIR ONE is charged.
Insert the FLIR ONE in the USB port on your phone.
Adjust the wheel on the FLIR ONE so it fits securely to your phone.
Turn on your FLIR ONE device and wait until the LED begins blinking green. This may take up to 20 seconds.
❺ Press the orange circled camera icon to take a thermal photo of a Location / Asset / Checklist Item.
Use the controls at the bottom of the screen to adjust thermal image capturing.

When an infrared photo is downloaded, you receive a .thermal file that contains several versions of the infrared picture and metadata information about it. In order to open the .thermal file, rename it to .zip and then unarchive it. |
