Android: Barcode Reader, Recording & Search

It is possible to scan barcodes to record various Asset properties and search for Assets in Azenzus Inspection App, so you do not need to do this manually and can exclude typing errors.

To do so, follow the instructions below.

Select Barcode Decoding Format

Open Settings → tap “QR reader”.

Toggle “Enable QR reader”.

Tap to select a QR field in which the barcode data will be decoded and recorded.

QR field is <<Property group.Property name>> of an Asset predefined in Sheet 3 in your Inspection import file.

Tap to select barcode format for decoding.

Put checkmarks in the checkboxes with decoding formats you intend to use, e.g., UPC_A, UPC_E, EAN_8, EAN_13, CODE_39, CODE_93, CODE_128, ITF, RSS_14.
