Inspection State & Inspection Status
Statuses can only be set for an Inspection with a ‘Released’ “Released“ state.
When an Inspection is created, it obtains ‘Draft’ state with status ‘Open’State is selected before creation of Inspection and status can be empty or any other.
Change the state manually to ‘Draft’ if you need to keep the Inspection visible for yourself only“Draft” in Inspection Manager.
Users with Manager and Company Admin roles can see all Inspections, including those with “Draft” “state.
If an Inspection has a ‘Draft’ “Draft“ state, all the statuses are ignored.
If an Inspection has a ‘Draft’ “Draft“ state, it is impossible to make changes to the Checklist.
Inspections with statuses "Closed - Complete" and "Archived" will not be shown in the dropdown Inspection list. They will remain in the database and will be visible in Inspection Manager.
Edit Inspection State
In order to edit a state of any Inspection, follow the steps below.
❶ Open Inspection Manager menu.
❷ Select an Inspection for further actions.
❸ Press “Edit”.
❹ Use the dropdown to select and edit Inspection state.
❺ Press “Save” to finish.
