Add files as Attachments to Location, Asset or a Checklist Item in order to provide on-site employees with any additional information required to complete their inspections and/or add them to the final Inspection Report file.
Maximum attachment size is 10 Mb.
Supported file formats:
Documents: PDF,DOC,TXT.
Images: JPG/JPEG,PNG,GIF.
You can attach files both in bulk and/or from different folders.
Documents
Attach a Location or Asset blueprint, access instructions, safety protocols, an inspection standard or a previous inspection report.
Photos
The images attached to a Location, Asset or a Checklist item are considered as a special type of attachments, specifically Photos. They are displayed in the same tab, but have a distinct treatment in Azenzus Inspection Manager.
Any attachment in JPG/JPEG/PNG/GIF format is considered a photo.
For each Photo added, users can view the following:
file name
thumbnail preview
comment (if any)
Infrared Photos
Inspectors can take infrared photographs with a FLIR thermal camera.
When working with thermal photos in Azenzus Inspection Manager, keep in mind that:
Rotation on preview is disabled for infrared photos.
When downloaded, infrared photos are saved with .thermal extension
Basically, it is an archive that allows you to store several versions of an infrared photo and its metadata.
In order to open .thermal archive, change extension to .zip.
Infrared images require a separate license.
View Image Attachments
Select a Location/Asset → press Attachments tab:
doulbe-click → view image
double-click → preview TXT/PDF
double-click → download Word/Excel file
Upload Attachments
Select a Location/Asset → go to Attachments tab → press the paperclip icon → select Add files → select file(-s) on your device → press Upload → close current window.
Download Attachments
Go to Attachments → click to select an Attachment → press Download icon.
Note: each file asks for a saving path.
Press and hold Ctrl to select and download attachments in bulk.
Removed attachments can not be restored.
Remove Attachments
Hover over an Attachment → click the cross on the thumbnail → remove an Attachment.
