Inspection is the core entity in Azenzus Inspection Manager data structure.
All the Locations with all the Assets, their photos and Checklist results are components of an Inspection. The result of an Inspection is a Report.
In Azenzus Inspection Manager you can:

❶ Select an Inspection from the dropdown list at the top of the main page.
❷ Type in Inspection name manually in the dropdown for fast search.
After an Inspection is selected, the list of Locations opens automatically and is the first component you see in both Inspection Manager / Inspection App.
Data structure
All Locations and Assets are components of a particular Inspection.
Properties
It is possible to edit Inspection properties in Azenzus Inspection Manager.
Inspection details
Go to Inspection Manager menu to select an Inspection and edit Inspection details.
Inspection details are general information fields indicating:
❶ Name.*
❷ Planned start date.
❸ Planned finish date.
❹ Actual start date.
❺ Actual finish date.
❻ Order Id.
❼ State.
❽ Status.
❾ Description.
*Only the “Name” field is mandatory, the rest of Inspection details fields are optional.
Inspection state & status
Statuses can only be set for an Inspection with a “Released“ state.
State is selected before creation of Inspection and status can be empty or any other.
Change the state manually to “Draft” in Inspection Manager.
Users with Manager and Company Admin roles can see all Inspections, including those with “Draft” “state.
If an Inspection has a “Draft“ state, all the statuses are ignored.
If an Inspection has a “Draft“ state, it is impossible to make changes to the Checklist.
Inspections with statuses "Closed - Complete" and "Archived" will not be shown in the dropdown Inspection list. They will remain in the database and will be visible in Inspection Manager.
Edit Inspection state
In order to edit a state of any Inspection, follow the steps below.
❶ Open Inspection Manager menu.
❷ Select an Inspection for further actions.
❸ Press “Edit”.
❹ Use the dropdown to select and edit Inspection state.
❺ Press “Save” to finish.
Edit Inspection status
In order to edit a status of any Inspection, follow the steps below.
❶ Open Inspection Manager menu.
❷ Select an Inspection for further actions.
❸ Press “Edit”.
❹ Use the dropdown to select and edit Inspection status.
❺ Press “Save” to finish.
Statuses for an Inspection with a ‘Released’ state are the following:
Open
In progress
On hold
Closed - Partially Complete
Closed - Complete
Archived
Inspections with the status "Archived" will not be visible in the Inspection list and will be shown in Inspection Manager menu only.
Inspection types
Inspection type is pre-recorded in the Inspection import file and defines in detail how the Assets shall be inspected, indicating either a time period or a method, as well as defining which Checklist Items shall be used during inspection process (e.g., daily / monthly, visual / detailed).
