Android: Attachments

Azenzus Inspection App is especially good at handling pictures of Locations, Assets and Checklist Items.
You can take photos of inspected Assets or related findings right in the app, pick a photo from the gallery on your Android device, or copy & paste an image from the clipboard.
Take a photo
❶ Press the “Camera" or "Image” icon near the needed Location / Asset / Checklist Item to open related Attachments.
❷ Press the blue circled camera icon to enter regular camera mode.
❸ Tap the "Shutter” button to take a photo.
❹ Tap the arrow button to go back and retake a photo.
❺ Tap the checkmark button to save the photo to Attachments.
❻ Tap the cross button to exit the camera mode.
Pick a photo from device
❶ Press the “Camera" or "Image” icon near the needed Location / Asset / Checklist Item to open related Attachments.
❷ Open the three dots menu at the right top corner of the screen.
❸ Tap “Pick photo”.
❹ Select the needed picture from your Android image gallery.
❺ Press “Add” to upload a photo to Attachments of the selected Location / Asset / Checklist Item.
Copy & paste a photo in the App
❶ Press the “Camera" or "Image” icon near the needed Location / Asset / Checklist Item to open related Attachments.
❷ Long press on the needed image to select it for further actions. After selection, additional icons for actions with attachments will show up at the top of the screen.
❸ Tap the “Copy” icon to copy the selected image.
It is possible to select multiple images for copying.
Make sure to paste the copied image(-s) in the destination Location / Asset / Checklist Item Attachments folder before deleting them from the initial Attachments folder in the App.
❹ Go to the destination Location / Asset / Checklist Item and press the “Camera" or "Image” icon to open Attachments.
❺ Press the “Clipboard” icon to paste the copied image(-s) to the Attachments folder of selected Location / Asset / Checklist Item.
Confirm the action in the appearing popup.
❻ Your photo will be pasted immediately and will become visible in Attachments of the selected Location / Asset / Checklist Item.
Comment & zoom
❶ Press the “Camera" or "Image” icon near the needed Location / Asset / Checklist Item to open related Attachments.
❷ Short tap on the needed image to view it in Gallery and access more actions.
❸ Use your fingers to zoom the image in and out.
❹ Press the “Comment” icon enter comments related to the image.
❺ Use “Rotation” buttons to rotate the image as needed.
❻ Use the “Trash Bin” icon to delete the image that is currently being viewed.
❼ Enter comments using the on-screen keyboard of your Android device.
It is possible to type comments using voice input, for example, when you’re wearing safety gloves.
❽ Press “Save” to store the entered comments.
Press “Cancel” to discard the action.
Delete a photo
❶ Press the “Camera" or "Image” icon near the needed Location / Asset / Checklist Item to open related Attachments.
❷ Short tap on the needed image to select it for deletion.
It is possible to select multiple images for deletion.
❸ Tap the “Trash Bin” icon to delete selected image(-s).
❹ Press “Yes” to confirm deletion.
Press “Cancel” to discard the action.
Deletion of pictures or any other Location / Asset / Checklist Item Attachments is an irreversible action. Once you delete an image, it can not be restored.
